Huge Outdoor Rock Event does it Hornless.On 12 July 2003 Indonesia's largest outdoor Live Show venue located at the Ancol Entertainment grounds in North Jakarta hosted the Fenomina 2003 event. Organizer was Garuda Dua, emPad equipment supply was a combined Mata Elang / Harry Kiss Production effort.The venue measures approximately 90 meters wide by 330 meters deep.
Stage dimensions were 41 meters wide by 36 meters deep.
emPad equipment used:
SR: 16 pcs CC35 in line array configuration.
Center stage Front fill : 8 pcs B7 in Line array configuration.
Additional Low: 2 stacks of 4 pcs B315 each.
1 pc XTA Dp226 FOH
1 pc XTA Dp224 FOH
6 amp racks each with:
- 1 pc emPad ESP224 processor
- 3 pcs emPad DXA2400 Amps.
NO delay cabinets were needed!
The low end produced by the CC35 8 meter long/high array carried all the 330 meters to the back over the audience. So did the mids and highs up to 8 kHz. The high frequencies above 8 kHz lost power after 130 meters due to air absorption.
All low end was configured to act as one huge directional system. This kept the busy stage clear of rumble. The monitor crew loved it!
